ST JOSEPH’S COLLEGE AQUATIC & FITNESS CENTRE
The St Joseph’s College Aquatic and Fitness Centre replaces the 1957 War Memorial Pool and collocates the Healy Gym, a high-performance training and fitness facility into a new comprehensive fitness and recreation precinct, purposefully expanding the heart of the College.
The new three storey purpose built sporting complex includes an underground plant room, cardio room, change rooms, offices, weights and training room, and physiotherapy room. A new 50m outdoor pool and a separate water polo pool was introduced, and a large spectator balcony was installed on Level 1, to allow students and parents to view the entire pool.
JHA was engaged by St Joseph’s College to provide electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, ESD and vertical transport consultancy for this project.
